What to Expect in Class

Each week we focus on learning one dance, breaking it down step-by-step so dancers feel comfortable and confident before dancing it through together several times.

Classes begin with a quick stretch and warm-up, followed by a review of the previous week’s dance before moving into the new lesson. This format allows dancers to reinforce what they’ve learned while continuing to build their repertoire.

Our Intermediate class is best suited for dancers who are already comfortable with common line dance patterns and terminology.

Our Social Dance Nights

Each Silver Line Social session follows a unique rhythm designed to balance learning with community.

Every series includes three weeks of studio lessons, followed by a private social dance night held at an off-site venue. During social nights:

  • The first hour is spent reviewing dances learned in class

  • The second hour is dedicated to request-based social dancing

Each session includes two private social nights, and many dancers say these are their favorite evenings of the series.

Our Community

Silver Line Social is about more than learning dances — it’s about creating connection.

Our community is primarily women (many dancers joined from a previously women-focused organization), but all dancers are welcome. Classes are supportive, upbeat, and social, making it easy to meet new friends and feel part of the group.

Every class and social night feels less like a class and more like dancing with friends.

Join the Next Session

Our upcoming session begins March 4, and the dance lineup is selected by dancers from the previous session. This keeps the music and choreography fresh while reflecting what our community is excited to dance.
